    A must if you're in Cooktown. Wonderful views and it's great to feel the strength of the tradewinds if you're there at the right time of year. It's close enough to walk up from the town if you want a bit of exercise.

    great views looking out over the ocean,mt cook,endeaver river,across over to north shore,down to cherry tree bay which there is a bush walk that starts half way up the hill to get to it.a reasonably easy but steep drive on a now bitumen road from the bottom to the top where the light house is.
